Opera houses might all be locked down for the moment but we can still enjoy opera and plan future trips. Here are some things we found interesting, entertaining or both.

Recitals from The Wigmore Hall

If you've missed the series of lunchtime concerts from London's Wigmore Hall, you will be delighted to know that all the concerts are still available to enjoy here.

With voices including Iestyn Davies and Lucy Crowe and host of brilliant performers such as Hyeyoon Park, Adam Walker and Angela Hewitt these superb recitals from the empty auditorium have been one of the secret joys of the lockdown.

Like so many of our favourite venues, revenues have been severely impacted over recent months, and donations to The Wigmore Hall Audience Fund will be much welcomed.
