Opera houses might all be locked down for the moment but we can still enjoy opera and plan future trips. Here are some things we found interesting, entertaining or both.

Sleeping Florence

Watching this mesmerizing drone footage of the empty streets and piazzas of Florence, filmed during the Coronavirus isolation measures, gives one uniquely uninterrupted views of the city's ancient buildings. But despite the red roofs and blue skies, without the bustle and energy of its population and visitors, a lot of colour is somehow missing.

At the time of writing, we are very much looking forward our December tour, The Glory of Florence, when we hope to see Florence back to her vibrant, colourful self.
