COVID-19 Update 01.1.2021

Great news with the announcement of a second Covid-19 vaccine: a real shot in the arm!
But, obviously, there is still a long way to go and we shall all have to see what trnaspires as the mass vaccinations take their course.
There are no significant changes to the rules and restrictions around travelling abroad: not advisable until further notice.
The Government in  the form of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office [FCDO] is still advising people to avoid all but essential travel to many countries on the basis of Covid-19 risks.
There is, of course, much hope and speculation about steps which may be taken about reduced quarantining, Covid-19 tests at airports [costing about £100.00 per person]. But at present there is nothing concrete to justify a safe and trouble-free environment.
We shall, of course, continue to monitor the situation and news from opera houses around the world and our website will be updated from time to time.
It is our fervent hope that by the springtime/summer will herald a removal of many of teh bans and a return to some semblance of 'normality'.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you require any further information.
