2017 Verona Opera Festival - Arena di Verona

Arena di Verona
You can hear a pin drop!
Within the setting of the AD30 Roman amphithetre up to 14,000 expectant and enthusiastic opera-goers sit with lighted candles. You are unlikely to experience anything like it. This is the "big daddy" of opera al fresco and remains unrivalled.

Then there is the benefit of being at the heart of one of the most beautiful of Italian cities. Verona is crammed with magnificent architecture and dazzlingly picturesque streets and squares. Surprisingly, the city seems scarcely deflected from a typically Italian dedication to living well and stylishly by the annual influx of festival visitors.

The performances start late [at 9.00pm or 9.15pm] and end very late! We suggest you dine before in one of the many lovely restaurants around Piazza Bra.

We recommend seating in the Poltronissime Gold sector where dress code is smart. ...Show All
