ITINERARY
Day 1 Travel to Parma
Depart London Heathrow airport on British Airways flight to Milan. Private transfer from airport to Parma [approx 75 miles]. Check-in to city centre 4-star hotel [Hotel Stendhal or Toscanini]. Both hotels are ideally located for exploring the city and visiting the opera houses.
Day 2 In Parma
Morning sightseeing tour of Parma with your private guide visiting the Duomo, Battisterio, and Chiesa di San Giovanni Evangelista.
Day 3 Verdi Country
Full-day excursion with your private guide to visit Busseto where Verdi moved to in 1824; also visit Roncole [Verdi's birthplace] and for lunch. Late afternoon return to Parma
Day 4 Return to UK
Transfer from hotel to Milan for the return flight to London Heathrow on British Airways.
