Day 1 – Tue 30 May 2017 - Travel to Venice
Morning flight on British Airways to Venice. Transfer from airport to central 4-star hotel close to Teatr La Fenice. This evening, optional performance of Verdi's La traviata at Teatro La Fenice.
Day 2 - Wed 31 May 2017 - Venice
Day at leisure for independent sightseing.
This evening attend a performance of Il barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro La Fenice.
Day 3 - Thu 01 June 2017 – Venice - Embark on RSSC Voyaher
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer from hotel to Venice port and embark on the beautiful all-suite, all-balcony, 700 guest, Regent Seven Seas Voyager. Day 7 - Mon 05 June 2017 – Corfu, Greece
Legendary Corfu is a lush and romantic island, written about by Homer in his famous Odyssey. The island’s history is full of battles, indicative of Corfu’s turbulent position that lasted until modern times with unification with modern Greece in 1864. Day 8 - Tue 06 June 2017 - Taormina, Sicily, Italy
Naxos is gateway to the island of Sicily’s strategically significant northeastern region. From this port city, it is a short transfer to Taormina, resting 820 feet above the sea and overlooking imposing Mount Etna. In the early 20th century, Taormina became a colony for expatriate artists and writers, including D H Lawrence. The islands claim to fame is being the home of Napoleon Bonaparte during his first exile.
